When developers envisioned Rapunzel’s Forest, a point was made to keep the site free from political bias. If politics were discussed, our pledge was to balance out any opinions.

We have invited many political figures to be our friends with the hope of bringing attention and concern to those we’re trying to support.

On the other hand, Joe Biden, VP nominee for the Democratic Party, quickly accepted our friendship. A Catholic and a Democrat, Joe Biden has proven that he isn’t afraid to be a visible part of all our lives.

Excluding some medical and natural causes, everytime a girl has sex, there is always a chance of becoming pregnant.  Stories are everywhere of women and their unplanned pregnancies.  The fact is, it could happen and it does!

In the big picture of life, Jamie Lynne being a young mom doesn’t really matter.  Her child doesn’t see her as teenager who made a mistake, but a mother who loves her.  Even if they stamped the mother’s age on the kid’s forehead it wouldn’t matter.  Children always think their parents are ancient anyway, no matter what year they were born. 

What individual in society is qualified to actually put an age limit on motherhood?  Is there an upcoming law or bill that will regulate this?  Will the individuals who sponsor the regulations be the same “official” crowd that continue to try and convince us how free our country is?   

It does seem that as generations go on, women are choosing to have children later in life.  Does that mean that having children in your late 20s is morally right because it’s in vogue and having a child at 18 is morally wrong?  Trends in society change, that doesn’t mean that individuals should be shunned if they don’t follow the crowd. 

(Look around, people are STILL sporting big hair, mullets and layered cuts plastered back like greasy angels’ wings. Hey, it’s their hair and the members of the fashion police are self-appointed and powerless against AquaNet spray cans.)

So what of the people who are sharing our speck on the life timeline who happen to think it is appropriate to be at least ___ years of age to be a good mother?  Stand proud with Jamie Lynne, your big belly and your pink aerosol can of AquaNet hairspray and if they don’t like your view of the norm then just tell them to get the hell off your speck!
